- Soy wax has memory. To ensure that your candle does not tunnel, on your first burn make sure the wax pool reaches from edge to edge of the vessel.
- Before lighting your candle each time after the initial session make sure to trim your wick! This step is MOST important, it assists in a proper burn and prevents soot from forming especially with a wooden wick. You can use either a pair of trimmers or your fingers to pinch off the excess char.
- Keep lit candles in sight while burning and away from anything flammable. Never leave children alone near an open flame. Lastly, depending on the size of your candle the maximum burn time should be between 3-4 hours
- Lit candles are VERY hot, never pick up your candle vessel while the wax is still melted. Allow it to cool before handling.
